  3. Early this year Ukraine along with much of eastern Europe was caught in a deep and protracted cold snap. Many froze to death, energy demand spiked, and to top it all Russia accused Ukraine of stealing gas from transit pipes destined for western Europe for the second time in three years.

    A fire in a psychiatric hospital just outside Moscow killed 36 people.The hospital was in the town of Ramensky.

    it was just a normal night for the patients at the Psychiatric Hospital No. 14, but at 2:00 am flames started busing out of the 73 year old hospital. it was a terrible tragedy for there was nothing the firefighters could do. 36 people died most, reported from the neighbors next door, where burned alive. it is a sad thing and the doters, nurse, and patients will be missed.
